In Ireland, only 1 in 3 people with disabilities are socially involved in sport as compared to 1 in 2 people without disabilities. – Sport Ireland
We want to learn why this is happening.
Active Disability Ireland in partnership with the University of Limerick is conducting research to explore the area of social participation in sport and physical activity amongst people with disabilities. If you are 18 years or older and living with a disability,we invite you to complete our online survey on social participation in sport and active recreation. We are also holding interviews to explore the area of social participation. Use this opportunity to have your voice heard.
