Breffni Community Development CLG is based in the Townspark area of Carrick on Shannon and is a modern, community based project, the focus of which is to provide relevant family based supports and services in an accessible, professional, confidential, welcoming and comfortable environment. The aim of Breffni Community Development CLG is to help combat disadvantage by supporting the functioning of the family unit. We provide service and supports to families, lone parent families, men, women, youth, the elderly, adults with learning difficulties and others in need of support within our catchment area of South Leitrim and parts of Roscommon. These supports and services uphold the community development ethos and the principle of inclusiveness, both central to the values of the Child and Family Agency Tusla and therefore to our centre, overseen by a voluntary Board of Management who meet each month and represent specific interest sub groups.
